Supposedly there has been some backlash on campus about DeLoach giving away money in our international business class – they say it doesn’t foster an academic environment. Let’s just ask ourselves this one question, why don’t we: What happens in the real world? If we’re not prepared for competition when we enter the workforce, our education would be incomplete. So I’d say that by fostering some healthy competition, DeLoach is actually doing us a favour.
Plus, the $50 I’ve won in class has helped me make rent this month. Who’s going to complain about that?
